How does FLVS Full Time work?

Just like in traditional school, FLVS Full Time runs on a 180-day school calendar. Students take their courses on an August – June schedule and have a standard public school course load. Students enrolled in FLVS Full Time must also meet all the same public school requirements for attendance, graduation, and standardized test preparation.

The main difference is that FLVS Full Time is considered your primary school of record and offers diplomas to graduating high school seniors. Each course has a real teacher that guides you through the course work, which is broken down into modules. Teachers are available via phone, text, email, and IM, Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. As you work through the modules of your course, you will connect with your teacher to take exams online and to participate in discussion-based assessments over the phone. And, of course, teachers are available anytime you have a question.
