An outgoing personality, a positive attitude, and the ability to make the numbers come out right are all important talents needed to support the members of the Florida Virtual School instructional team. They are also the kind of talents that make Aida Feeley the right person for her job as a FLVS program assistant.
Mrs. Feeley is a native of Columbia who came to the United States with a strong work ethic and a desire to serve the needs of others. In Columbia, she spent several years working with children in a camp setting, as well as in the field of accounting. After moving to the United States with her husband in 2003, she worked in banking and in customer service for a large shopping mall in Orlando, Florida.
Mrs. Feeley joined the staff at FLVS in order to use her background and experience at a school noted for its passion for excellence. Her current job entails budgeting the expenses of several directors and managers. She is also responsible for scheduling appointments and making travel arrangements.
Mrs. Feeley appreciates working with a team that recognizes the importance of nurturing the talents of each employee. Her goal is to continue to develop her own skills, and make FLVS the focus of her career.
Mrs. Feeley and her husband Pete share their home with Oscar the cat and a pet ferret named Lunna. She studied accounting for three years at the University Santiago de Cali in Columbia where she played on the university soccer team.
