Henry's financial experience in the education field began back in 1971 in the Finance Corp in the Army. He then provided financial guidance as Chief Financial Officer for Orange County Public Schools before finally holding that same position for Florida Virtual School.

As the General Manager, Mr. Ross is responsible for broadening the presence of his school in the national and international educational marketplace. Mr. Ross plans and executes strategies that identify potential clientele and their needs, as well as mutually beneficial business partnerships.

Cassie Nielsen believes that effective communication is a purposeful, two-way dialogue. By merging the talents of the FLVS Marketing, Foundation, Communication, and Market Research teams, she creates the kind of communication that produces a clear picture of current market needs, as well as objective data for how best to respond to those needs.

Helping new teachers and staff adopt the core values of the Florida Virtual School is the primary responsibility of Chief Learning Officer, Felicia Ryerson. She uses her love of learning environments to help guide the creation of professional development programs and opportunities at FLVS. To best serve the student, teachers and staff must be well supported and developed to provide the best learning environment possible.

Dr. Jodi Marshall
Vice President of Instruction
With nearly 20 years in the education field, Jodi brings a variety of experience to Florida Virtual School. Jodi began her career at FLVS as an adjunct teacher and moved into course development and ultimately into her current position today as Vice President, Instruction. Jodi studied at the University of Florida for her undergraduate work, the University of Central Florida for her Master's, and went on to study at the University of Miami for her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction.

John Logan
Vice President of Curriculum Product Innovation
While John’s wild imagination and constant curiosity may have tested the patience of his parents, it became quite useful in his early career creating award-winning print, television and interactive campaigns for brands such as McDonald’s, Hilton and Toyota. He later put his creativity to work for over 30 different Disney brands before bringing his passion for new ideas to FLVS. In his role as VP, Creative and Curriculum, John leads our new curriculum and content initiatives, helping us engage students in imaginative ways that position us for twenty-first century success. John is married to a teacher, has two school-age children and enjoys photographing anything that moves.
