Holly Sagues
Chief Information Officer

Holly Sagues' job is to look into the future - while building on the lessons of the past. As Chief Information Officer, Ms. Sagues ensures that the Florida Virtual School's instructional delivery system is state-of-the-art and user friendly.
Ms. Sagues' 20 years of technology experience help to support
her school's leadership in online instruction. Before becoming a teacher, she worked professionally in accounting and business management. In 1990, she entered the classroom, teaching high school business and computer science courses.
As a teacher, Ms. Sagues designed her classroom to offer students the most up-to-date technology training. She also participated in writing teams, creating state-wide curricula in business systems technology and web design.
In 1998, Ms. Sagues began her FLVS career as the developer and instructor of her school's first business courses. Her responsibilities grew to include web development specialist and project manager.
Today, Ms. Sagues is guiding Florida Virtual School in the areas of Learning, Information, and Business Systems. She is also responsible for overseeing the reliability and efficiency of her school's technology infrastructure and support.
Ms. Sagues earned her M.A. degree in Vocational Education and Technical Training. Her B.S. is in Business Administration and Accounting. Both degrees are from the University of Central Florida.
