The Florida Virtual School (FLVS) Foundation has announced the recipients of its 2026 student scholarship awards, recognizing graduating seniors for their resilience, determination, academic achievement, leadership, and commitment to continuing their education.

Each year, the Foundation awards scholarships to students who have demonstrated perseverance and a strong drive to build meaningful futures. This year’s recipients represent a diverse group of learners with aspirations spanning healthcare, science, technology, and the arts.

Through the scholarship program, students receive a $1,000 scholarship to pursue higher education and take the next steps toward achieving their goals.

The 2026 scholarship recipients are:

  • Janelle Hickey
  • Fatima Khan
  • Anna Melnychuk
  • Talitha Roper

The Foundation’s scholarship program is one of several initiatives designed to support students through educational enrichment opportunities, including STEM camps, internships, teacher grants, art showcases, and technology access programs.
