The Executive Leadership team is focused on delivering the highest quality educational solutions to students and families, administrators, schools and districts nationwide.

Kevin Locke is helping drive innovation and growth at Florida Virtual School (FLVS) and FlexPoint, the national arm of FLVS that serves schools and districts nationwide. As chief operating officer, Locke leads the strategic direction of the organization’s products and services, overseeing product design, development, and promotion; project management; curriculum development; and solution delivery to support the evolving needs of educators and students.

In his role, Locke oversees several critical functions, including Product Strategy and Delivery, Curriculum Development, National Sales, Partner Services, Florida, and Marketing and Communications. He plays a key role in advancing initiatives that expand access to high-quality online learning, strengthen educational offerings, and support the organization's ability to serve students, schools, and districts nationwide.

Locke brings more than a decade of leadership experience within FLVS, having served in a variety of operational and strategic roles. During his 15-year tenure, he has held positions including project manager, senior manager of operations, senior manager of project services, and senior director of the Enterprise Project Management Office. Through these roles, he has helped guide major organizational initiatives, improve operational efficiency, and support the successful delivery of projects.

Before joining FLVS, Locke served as a regional operations manager for Target Corporation, where he gained extensive experience leading teams, optimizing business operations, and driving organizational performance in a fast-paced environment.

Known as a strategic thinker and effective communicator, Locke has built a reputation for leading through change and fostering innovation. Throughout his career, he has developed and executed process improvements and operational strategies that have delivered significant business results, including multimillion-dollar gains in the private sector. His combination of operational expertise, customer-focused innovation, and collaborative leadership continues to support the organization's mission and growth in Florida and beyond.
