Outstanding FLVS Educators Accept Governor’s Shine Award

Florida Virtual School (FLVS) Instructional Leader Jason Odom of Gainesville, and Assistant Principal Wilbern Simpson of Lakeland, were among eight educators recognized by Governor Rick Scott who received the Governor’s Shine Award. This award is presented to teachers and administrators in Florida who make significant contributions to the field of education. Both Odom and Simpson certainly fall under that category.Latest News

Florida Virtual School and Florida Scholars Academy Student Artwork Displayed in Washington, D.C.
"Florida Students. Extraordinary Perspectives,” an exhibition showcasing artwork by students from Florida Virtual School and Florida Scholars Academy, was displayed at Florida House on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., from Sept. 29 through Oct. 4.
