Focus on activities that get you moving and outside with the Outdoor Education course that takes physical education to the next level.

In this course, you will:

Learn the importance of safe sporting practices, proper techniques, and the correct gear to use
Understand the benefits of habitat preservation, conservation, and environmental stewardship
Choose the outdoor activities you want to be involved in during the course
Earn a P.E. credit (0.5)
Earn your Florida Boater Education ID card and Hunter Safety Card
Fulfill your online graduation requirement
Work at a flexible pace with FLVS courses available 24/7

Complete the Outdoor Education course, including each timed hunting lesson as required by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission before moving forward in the hunter safety lesson sequence
Earn a score of 80 percent or higher on:
- All hunting module quizzes
- Virtual Field Day and Virtual Range Day lessons and quizzes
- Hunter Safety module exam
Upon completion of state requirements, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWCC) will mail your Florida Hunter Safety Card
Once you receive your Hunter Safety Card, you can separately order, purchase, and have your Florida Hunter’s License mailed to you

Complete the Outdoor Education course, including each timed boating lesson as required by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission before moving forward in the lesson sequence
Earn a score of 70 percent or higher on all quizzes to be permitted to take the certification exam
Earn a score of 80 percent or higher on certification exam
Confirm your proper mailing address in your student profile. Your Florida Boater Education ID Card will be mailed to you 4-5 weeks upon completing the course

Please note that students must be at least 12 years old to enroll in Outdoor Education.
