Transcript Request

  1. FLVS Home

  3. Transcript Request

Select your program and grade below.

If you have attended BOTH Flex and FLVS Full Time, you will need to order a transcript from EACH School.

If you take some or all of your courses with FLVS, but your school or district officially manages your records, then this process applies to you. Whether you are a student taking courses through FLVS Flex or a registered homeschool student taking all of your courses with us, your transcript request processes are the same.

There are 2 different ways to request your FLVS grades:

  • The first is by printing an Unofficial Transcript, which can be done via the Cumulative Academic Report page located under the Student Records tab once you login to in your FLVS account.
  • The second is by submitting a request for an Official Transcript.

Will my school receive my grades?
If you take courses part-time with FLVS while attending a traditional school, keep in mind that you do not have to request an Official Transcript for your school to receive your grades. A Final Grade Report will be sent to the school you have listed in your FLVS account as your school of record upon the completion of your course. If your school has not received your grades, please be sure your correct school and counselor are listed in your account. This will grant them access to view and download your Final Grade Report.

I am a registered homeschool student, but I take all or some of my coursework through FLVS. How will my parent/guardian receive my grades?
If you are a registered homeschool student, your parent/guardian is responsible for reporting your Final Grade Report to your school district. Please note that you do not have to request an Official Transcript to receive your grades from FLVS. Your Final Grade Report will be provided to the parent/guardian associated with your FLVS account when you complete a course. Your parent/guardian can then login to their account and print this report for your school district.

How do I know if I need an Official or Unofficial Transcript?
If you are applying to a university, scholarship, or other agency it is likely that they will require an Official Transcript. Whether or not that is the case should be clearly stated in their application requirements. If an Official Transcript is not required, an Unofficial Transcript can be printed from the Cumulative Academic Report page located under the Student Records tab in your FLVS account.

Official Transcripts include:

  • Official Stamp and Seal
  • Courses taken with FLVS
  • The year courses were taken
  • Number of credits earned
  • Grade received

Official Transcripts DO NOT include:

  • Graduation date
  • Grades/credits from other schools

Note: FLVS Flex is a curriculum provider not a school of record.  FLVS Flex does not provide diplomas. Public/Private/Charter students are graduated by their school of record and their transcript would have a graduation date. Home educated students, per Florida law, complete a home education program as designed by the parent or guardian. Once the student completes all needed courses, the parent or guardian is responsible for filling out the Home Education Affidavit to officially graduate their student, therefore attesting that his/her student has completed high school as a homeschool student. A sample of the Home Education Affidavit may be found on page 15 of this guide.

Official Transcript Procedure of Fees:

  • The first transcript is provided as a courtesy, free of charge, for undergraduate students and for electronic copies only.
  • All subsequent requests are subject to a $3-$8 processing surcharge

How do I request an official transcript? All official transcript requests and fees are accepted through Parchment.com. Click here for detailed instructions on how to request your transcript via Parchment. You can also watch this video for a tutorial.

In Florida:
If you are a school counselor representing a school within the state of Florida, you do not have to request an official transcript to receive student grades from FLVS. Please have your students update their Academic Profiles in their FLVS accounts to grant you access to their cumulative academic reports. Once they have granted this access, you will be able to login to your FLVS administrator account to view and print their grades.

Outside of Florida:
If you are a school counselor representing a school outside of Florida, please ask the student or parent to submit an official transcript request. There is a processing fee for transcripts to be sent to colleges, universities, and public or private schools outside of Florida. Students and parents can access the official transcript request process on this page.
