Florida Virtual School Names First-Ever National Geographic Bee School Champion

Florida Virtual School (FLVS) is proud to announce 6^th grade student Jacob Maynard as its winner of the first round of the National Geographic Bee (Geo Bee) competition. Maynard competed alongside other members of the FLVS Geography Club, all of whom live in various cities across the state. The competition took place at the FLVS headquarters in Orlando. This was the first time FLVS, or any virtual school, has competed in the National Geo Bee.

Florida Virtual School Names Top Five Graduates, All Achieving GPAs Above 4.6

Five FLVS Full Time seniors are being recognized for their academic achievement, earning the top GPAs in their class of 1251 students. Each of the top five scholars in the class of 2025 achieved GPAs above 4.6.
