FLVS to Remain Open on Tuesday, Jan. 21 and Wednesday, Jan. 22
Updated: Jan. 20 at 5 p.m.
FLVS is monitoring the rare winter storm warning that is in effect in North Florida, including parts of the panhandle and Tallahassee area. Right now, freezing rain and snow are expected Tuesday night into Wednesday.
While FLVS will remain open Tuesday, Jan. 21 and Wednesday, Jan. 22, the safety of students, staff, and families is our top priority.
North Florida Students and Families
If students are unable to log in due to the storm, they should contact their teacher(s) as soon as they can. Please note, teachers are located throughout the state so there may be delays in responding. If a student’s teacher was impacted by the storm, families will be notified of a temporary point of contact so they may continue working in the course.
North Florida Staff
Team members should stay in close communication with their supervisor throughout the storm. It is especially important for team members to notify their supervisor if they are unable to work on Tuesday, Jan. 21 and/or Wednesday, Jan. 22.
Florida Scholars Academy team members should follow instructions provided by their supervisor.
If impacted by the storm, please stay safe and warm. Follow the guidance of local authorities and monitor local news and weather conditions for updates.
