"Interning at FLVS has been a dream come true! FLVS is the educational platform of the future, and I believe every aspiring teacher would benefit from interning here. During my internship, I have developed amazing connections with my students because I have more time to give to them. Instead of being a teacher in 1 classroom of 25, you are a teacher in 25 classrooms of 1. It makes a huge difference in the students’ personal and academic lives!"

"My internship at Florida Virtual School ignited my passion for online teaching. I completed both semesters of my senior internship here, drawn by the unique opportunities it offers compared to traditional internships. This platform empowers teachers to prioritize instruction, and the organization encourages innovation and continuous growth. As a former FLVS student and intern, it taught me the importance of personalized education that caters to students' distinct needs. I'm grateful for this experience that opened my eyes to a unique way of teaching that places students at the forefront."

"Interning at FLVS has been an enriching journey, offering me a unique perspective beyond my six years as an educator here at FLVS. My internship role with the support services department allowed me to forge connections across various aspects of our student support network. FLVS fosters a collaborative environment where learning is reciprocal; interns gain invaluable insights, while hosts benefit from fresh perspectives. I wholeheartedly recommend embracing the opportunity to intern or host at FLVS, where mutual growth and understanding thrive. Whether as an intern or an educator, FLVS is the only place I want to be!"

“Interning at FLVS was an excellent choice for experience on my way to completing my Mental Health Counseling degree. The flexibility provided along with the opportunity to work alongside highly qualified and motivated professionals was a clear window into what working as a counselor can, and should, look like. In addition, with further advances in technology and increasing demand for mental health services, an experience centered around telehealth should be on the radar for anyone looking to work in this field.”

“Interning with FLVS has far exceeded my expectations in education. The individualized instruction that I am able to provide alongside with the camaraderie and support within my team is unlike anything I have experienced before. I am encouraged to give adequate attention to the individual needs of my students and allotted viable time to plan for high quality instruction. I am able to implement enrichments and remediations instantly and the amount of resources available to do so are limitless. I finish each day with energy and excitement knowing the impact that I can have in virtual education!”

“Few can say they look forward to getting up early in the morning and putting their required hours into an internship for their college program. My internship with FLVS was an exception. Perhaps it was the job itself that I was excited beyond belief to one day obtain or the thrill of working in an online environment, but I gladly put above and beyond the number of required hours into my internship because I loved doing it! If you are someone passionate about helping kids reach their potential in an innovative environment, the FLVS internship is a great start!”
