End-of-Course Exams
EOC Assessments
The Education Code in the Florida Statutes mandates that public school students take the statewide, standardized End-of-Course (EOC) assessment that correlates with the EOC course in which they are enrolled.
Districts determine the exact dates for each test administration. Some districts may have specific rules/restrictions for each test administration.

What do I need to know?
Public school students enrolled in Algebra 1 must participate in the Algebra 1 End-of-Course (EOC) Assessment. The Algebra 1 EOC assessment, aligned to the Florida’s Benchmarks for Excellent Student Thinking (B.E.S.T.) Standards. Students who need to meet their graduation requirement by retaking the B.E.S.T. Algebra 1 EOC assessment, aligned to the Florida Standards, will test in fall 2024 or winter 2025.
Students taking the Algebra 1 EOC will have the opportunity to test during one of the following administrations throughout the year:
- May 1–31, 2024 (B.E.S.T. only)
- July 15–26, 2024 (B.E.S.T. only)
- September 9-October 4, 2024
- December 2-December 20, 2024
- May 1-May 30, 2025
- July 14-25, 2025
Your exact testing dates within these windows are determined by your district. Some districts may have specific rules/restrictions for each test administration.

Strongly encouraged: Take the Algebra 1 EOC practice test prior to taking the EOC assessment. This practice test will help you gain familiarity with the types of questions and test functionality. Please sign in as a guest. There is no code required for a guest account.

What do I need to know?
Public school students enrolled in Geometry must participate in the Geometry End-of-Course (EOC) Assessment. The Geometry EOC assessment, aligned to Florida's Benchmarks for Excellent Student Thinking (B.E.S.T.) Standards, will be administered for the first time in winter 2022.
Students taking the Geometry EOC will have the opportunity to test during one of the following administrations throughout the year:
- May 1–31, 2024
- July 15–26, 2024
- September 9-October 4, 2024
- December 2-December 20, 2024
- May 1-May 30, 2025
- July 14-25, 2025

Students taking the Biology 1 EOC will have the opportunity to test during one of the following administrations throughout the year:

- May 1-May 30, 2025

Public school students enrolled in U.S. History must participate in the Next Generation Sunshine State Standards (NGSSS) U.S. History End-of-Course (EOC) Assessment. Students taking the U.S. History EOC will have the opportunity to test during one of the following administrations throughout the year:
- May 1–31, 2024
- July 15–26, 2024
- September 9-October 4, 2024
- December 2-December 20, 2024
- May 1-May 30, 2025
- July 14-25, 2025
